To cope with the need to change the shock piston from time to time, a high quality anti-leak O-ring was used to prevent oil leakage from the shock.
To build this high-end shock set for maximum durability with minimum weight, high quality CNC machined aluminum was used.
Rebound Core System:
The Yeah Racing aluminum shock absorber set features 6 different shock pistons for fine adjustment of the rebound characteristics.
The general type 3 piston set allows you to adjust 3 different rebound speeds where it has the same depression and compressive strength. While the "V-piston" featured a V-shaped shock oil tunnel which allows the vacuum rate to differ from the compression rate for more precise adjustment. For example, a rear-wheel drive RC model can take advantage of a stiffer rear wheel compression ratio to compensate for weight transfer during hard acceleration while keeping the vacuum rate balanced throughout the car.
